About Qubits Solutions

Qubits Solutions is a New Zealand research and engineering consultancy, registered in 2017 and based in Hamilton. We put research-grade AI, automation and data engineering to work for businesses, universities and industry.

We are researchers and engineers from academia and industry, with projects delivered across New Zealand, Japan, Pakistan, Malaysia, Mongolia and the United Kingdom. Our track record spans Livestock Improvement Corporation, the University of Auckland, the University of Waikato and clients overseas.

The team

Dr M Qasim, Solutions Architect

Founder and director. Designs the architecture behind every Qubits system, from agentic pipelines to plant-floor automation.

Irfan Habib, Director

Director with livestock genetics and operations experience, including Genome Breeding Technologies and LIC AIS St Helens. Helps shape partnerships and delivery for dairy-sector systems.

Dr Junaid Haseeb, Cyber Security & IoT

Lecturer at the University of Waikato. Researches IoT security, deception techniques and formal methods. Keeps our systems safe by design.

Dr Amir Mukhtar, Senior AI/ML Engineer

Builds and tunes the models behind our analytics, agents and automation.

Shaheer Syed, Automation Engineer

Turns hardware, firmware and software into systems that run unattended. Rides motorbikes; ships robust code.
